Shangri-Las

This girl group started out in Queens, New York in the early sixties. The Shangri La's had several hits before their break up in 1968. The most famous of these is 'Leader of the Pack' which was released at the end of 1964. This song was a UK hit three times, also going high in the charts in 1972 and 1976.
