Girl Group

I'm a real girl group fan with the 1960's through the 1980's being my favourite periods. It isn't just the music though. We're really lucky. As well as the music anyone born since the end of the second world war has had great movies to go to and great books to read. From Papillon by Henri Charrière to Love Story by Eric Segal, both books turned into films, from James Bond and the Pink Panther to Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings, we have had fantastic entertainment. I'm going to go through the girlgroup.co.uk forums right from the 50's on and find out which were the best books and which the best films from every era. Has anyone out there got any recommendations?
